David Boggs is currently coaching his son and daughter's travel soccer teams. He is also training a U-11 boys team in Hamilton and works as a trainer at the Bob Smith Soccer Academy. He also runs an early bird PTO soccer club at Lawrence Intermediate School. Boggs worked for New Jersey Youth Soccer as a Girls Area Coach and a Boys State team head coach for the New Jersey Olympic Development Program for 17 years. He served as the Director of Player Development for the Moorestown Soccer Club from 2010-2013. In 2010 Boggs earned his National Youth License from the United States Youth Soccer Association. He also holds his National, Advanced National, and Director of Coaching Diplomas from the National Soccer Coaches Association. He coached the Lawrence High Varsity girls soccer team for 15 years.During this span, Boggs coached 36 All-State players and 2 All-Americans. In 2008 he received the “Award of Honor” by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association for his service and dedication to the student/athletes of our state. Boggs was selected as Mercer County Coach of the Year in 1998 and 2000. At Trenton State College, he was a member of the 1991 NCAA National finalist team. In 2011 Boggs was honored as Lawrence Intermediate School's Teacher of the Year.
Former Lawrence High School standout, P.J. Barrett played college soccer for the 1991 National Champions Mercer County College. He then went on to finish his playing career at the College of New Jersey where he later earned his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. An USSF licensed coach; Barrett has continued to give back to the community through the game of soccer by training both girls and boys in the surrounding areas for the last 23 years. In four years as Lawrence High School’s boy’s varsity coach he guided the team to 4 state tournament appearances and 28 All County/All-State selections. In addition to his playing and coaching achievements, Barrett has been honored by the community as a member of Lawrence High School's Hall of Honor, Eldridge Park School's Teacher of the Year, honorary coach of the Glenn Myernick High School Senior All Star Game, and former board member of the New Jersey Soccer Coaches Association of New Jersey.
